Club competition.
Community spirit.
Bringing pickleball clubs together through competitive league play, great matches and a shared passion for growing the game across Sussex.
Where competition and community meet.
The Sussex Pickleball League was established through collaboration between local pickleball clubs that wanted more opportunities for their players to compete against other clubs.
Run entirely by volunteers and on a not-for-profit basis, SPL provides structured club competition while helping build relationships between players and clubs across Sussex.
From experienced competitors to developing league players, the aim is to provide meaningful competition in a welcoming, well-organised environment.
Competitive pickleball played in the right spirit.
Why the league exists
SPL is built around four simple ideas that guide how the league develops.
Competition
Give clubs and their players regular opportunities to compete against teams from across the region.
Development
Help players develop their game through meaningful competitive match play.
Community
Build stronger connections between pickleball clubs, teams and players throughout Sussex.
Growth
Support the continued growth and development of pickleball throughout the county.
Built by clubs.
For clubs.
Sussex Pickleball League isn't a commercial league operator. It's a volunteer-led competition created collaboratively by people involved in the local pickleball community, with the focus firmly on providing great competition for clubs and players.
Growing the game together.
The league exists to create opportunities for clubs, support player development and help build a thriving pickleball community across Sussex.
